Many people ask "who is my soul mate" and I have to say that I do not believe that there is one and one only soul mate for each person on the planet.



This is an unrealistic expectation and has always bugged me.



Recently I read Georgina Walker’s book "Dearly departed" and was relieved to read that she does not believe in soul mates. In fact she goes so far to say that it is a con job the media has whipped up to sell books.



I agree with Georgina when she says that a person can be devoted and in love with their partner, only to have that relationship end through death. They later meet someone else and fall in love again and this person can become their life love and partner.

Unconditional love

What is unconditional love? Many people ask me this question.



Mothers give unconditional love to children, a child may commit robbery, murder or some other heinous crime, yet a mother’s love will remain steady, firm and supportive for that child no matter what.



Unconditional love between lovers means giving total trust and love no matter what that person does. If you find yourself reading your partner’s texts, emails or searching their bag or drawers then you do not feel unconditional love so move on.



Unconditional love is absolute and brings perfect happiness.



Closing the door and moving on



One of the hardest lessons for human beings to learn is to close the door and move on. When a relationship is over, usually one or other of the partners leaves.
